The Jack Orchard ALS Foundation was dedicated to the research of existing treatments to help lengthen the life of ALS patients. The Foundation’s most well-known program, Extra Hands for ALS, pairs ALS patients with student helpers. After their founder, Jack Orchard, died from ALS in 2008, the Foundation ceased operating. But Jack's legacy of helping ALS patients lives on.
