Bias and Tolerance

The Missouri History Museum and the Anti-Defamation League provide an innovative program for middle and high-school students. Reading Bias/Writing Tolerance: Using History’s Powerful Stories uses artifacts from the museum’s collection to teach students about bias, patterns of discrimination, stereotyping, and tolerance. The website was created to promote the program to local educators who might participate and to museum professionals throughout the world who might implement the program in their cities.
