David Vordtriede

David likes to draw and still can’t believe that he gets paid to do it. After receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Truman State University, he went straight to work designing websites and interactive solutions for various clients such as Microsoft, Anheuser Busch and Enterprise Rent-a-Car. David is also a published children’s book illustrator and loves to doodle monsters and robots when no one is looking.


There are three tiny people that moved into the house with David and his wife Jenny on September 9th 2004. It just so happens that all 3 of them share their same last name and look like they might be related. Vincent, Evelyn and Marian keep them on their toes and full of pride. In his spare time, David loves to walk around the Botanical Gardens, follow the Cardinals, go see movies and watch cartoons. The only thing he loves more, is when he gets to do it all with his family by his side.
