Tom Nations
graphic designer and impractical jokester
Tom is easily the most wet-eared addition to the 501creative team. In 2006, he graduated from the University of Missouri – Saint Louis with his Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences. So far, he has enjoyed working in the “real world” far more than the “dream-like fantasy world” of the University.
Tom first turned to graphic design as a career path when his plans to be a real-life superhero eventually sputtered out. After years of proclaiming that his supposed latent powers would manifest themselves “any day now,” Tom finally conceded that destiny was a fickle sort, and chose a major that he felt was the absolute next best thing. He now enjoys the more nuanced pleasures of typography, levels adjustments, press checks, pre-flighting and the Pantone Matching System.
