In 1994, Karen did something unusual. She quit her job as a graphic designer at a large corporation and spent a year building homes as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. From that experience, Karen realized two things: she really enjoys working with community-minded organizations, and nonprofits need a reliable, affordable source for creative communications.

So…she invented 501creative.
